As a research assistant at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, I act as a link between hessian.AI and the university, and thus between academia and industry. In my role, I drive innovation and promote the exchange of expertise.
In addition, I am actively involved in various research projects at the university. These projects cover a broad spectrum, ranging from pioneering technological development to addressing societal challenges.
My specialist background lies in the field of computer vision and deep learning. In my Master’s thesis, I examined strategies for fine-tuning hyperspectral foundation models, with the aim of making large pre-trained models usable for applications such as tree species classification and ecological monitoring.
