You built a model that works. Does anyone outside your group need it?

 

That question decides whether AI research becomes a paper or a company. We’re putting it at the centre of Lab2Market AI x Cyber — a two-day special edition of the Lab2Market camp with Futury and ATHENE Digital Hub Cybersecurity, on 19–20 November at the FUTURY Startup Space in Frankfurt.

Hesse has become one of the strongest AI research regions in Europe. Turning that into companies is the part we work on, and it starts much earlier than most researchers think – not with a pitch deck or a funding application, but with an honest look at who has the problem you solved.

Two days, a small group, and people who will tell you what they actually think.

It’s for researchers working on AI, cybersecurity or both: post-quantum cryptography, OT security, anomaly detection, secure ML pipelines. You don’t need a startup, a co-founding team or a finished business model. An idea from your research is enough.

 

What happens in the two days:

→ A business model workshop with an external coach

→ Separate industry impulses for the AI and the cyber track

→ Pitching in small groups, with feedback from mentors from Futury, ATHENE, hessian.AI and d-fine

→ A concrete roadmap for your next steps

Afterwards, the support continues: optional mentoring and access to the Futury ecosystem.
